I like the Radley College microclimate investigation very much. We do
this sort of thing occasionally with our year 7. 
 
Continuing the theme of local weather phenomena, MetLink schools may
like to read our report on the weather-related effects of the 1999 solar
eclipse. Although the eclipse was only partial in Northants, we were
able to observe some very interesting perturbations!

You may also be interested in some of the statistical work that our
students do on long term weather records. We tentatively suggest general
forecasts up to 3 months ahead. This may interest some of the older
students involved in the project. Although we're a bit out on January's
