VOM (Vörå-Oravais-Maxmo Högstadieskola) is a Junior High for 260 pupils aged
14-16 years, from three nearby counties.
The school is sited in an open agricultural area surrounded by forest, 22
20´E, 63 15´N, some 10 kilometers from the west coast of Finland.
Nearest bigger town is Vasa.
 
Altitude is < 10 metres above sea-level.
 
We run an automatic Davis Weather Monitor II weather station 
connected to a PC for longtime storage of data.
 
The time for readings is at 1 PM local time, that is GMT, +2 hours.

The weather here in Vora is normally quite cold in Jan/Feb. January is the
coldest month of the year, with temperatures as low as -40 to -50 ´C.
We normally also get a lot of snow, 20-70 cm, during one winter season.
