Reading Dusseldorf Link

In 1947 the Mayor of Reading, Phoebe Cusden visited Dusseldorf and saw how poor the German people were after the second world war. She organised the people or Reading to send parcels of food and clothing to Dusseldorf. The two towns became closely linked and the Reading Dusseldorf Association was formed.
