Blue Coat School

Blue Coat School was founded by Richard Aldworth in 1646 and opened some ten years later. The school was rebuilt in 1720 on its original site on the corner of Silver Street and London Road. Moved to Bath Road in 1853 and in 1946 to Holme Park in Sonning.
