Richard Gardner made his full first team debut for "the Greens" against Slough after success in the reserve side and an appearance against Northwich Victoria on the bench. He played in the left side of midfield but had little impact on the game.
Allthough little is known about this new central defender, he too made his debut against Slough and played well, as both Craig Gaunt and Nick clarke were out so "Mr Utility" Adie Smith, who is a very good midfielder in his own right, had to play along side new boy Chris White.
Current injuries to the greens include Stuart Randall, Jon Hunt (see Pundits view), Andy Power and, record signing, Darren Grocutt. Craig Gaunt and Jimmy Skelding are currently serving suspentions.
