The View of a Supporter
I have supported the club for several years and feel it is much easier to relate to the players of a smaller non league club than it is to those of a much higher club. The little club is very charismatic and the team carries the hopes and aspirations of the whole town. My favourite Rovers game was away at Kettering in the Bob Lord Trophy Final when we were already 4-1 up but we won 10-2 in the end. The fans were absolutely exstatic and they ran out of chants. The most annoying thing is that they poached two of our best players and the F.A. fiddled us again over the prices. It is a cheap Saturday Afternoon at the Rovers and the Quality of some of the games gets quite high. All teams have their bad days and the most tension in any game I have experienced is the finale of the relegation battle through which we survived.
