GLO LogoMali Activity

Mali is a country in West Africa. It is full of different places: some are sandy, others are green; some are mountainous, others are flat; some are crowded, others are completely empty.

Many different people live in these places: farmers, fishermen, cattle herders, nomads, market sellers, people from the towns and people from the villages.

In the past Mali was a French colony. A colony is a country that has been taken over by a different country. Nowadays Mali is a free country again. Many people are working hard to improve their lives, and sort out problems left from the past.
