OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

 

  1. To try to ensure that each child attains the highest level of which he or she is capable in the basic skills of literacy, numeracy, oracy and information seeking and to fulfil the requirements of the National Curriculum.
  2. To develop the health and physical wellbeing of each child.
  3. To instil respect for religious and moral values and tolerance of other races, religions and ways of life.
  4. To fully integrate modern information technology systems into the learning environment for every child.
  5. To develop sensitivity to the artistic and scientific achievements and aspirations of mankind.
  6. To develop a self-motivated and a lively, enquiring approach to learning.
  7. To encourage creative thought and self-expression.
  8. To provide a pleasurable and stimulating environment for learning.
  9. To promote self-respect and respect and sensitivity towards others and to develop habits of self-discipline and acceptable behaviour.
  10. To encourage the children to be aware of their environment and to play an active part in its care and preservation.
  11. To promote an attitude of sharing and co-operation between the children and everyone concerned with the progress and success of our school.
