SCHOOL UNIFORM

The wearing of school uniform is compulsory and this policy was adopted in response to the general opinion of staff, parents and governors. These items are generally available from local outfitters and larger stores. Please note that all articles of clothing must be clearly named.

Summer Uniform

 GIRLS’ UNIFORM

Winter Uniform

Grey skirt, pinafore dress or trousers (not leggings)

Bottle green jumper or cardigan (school sweatshirts and cardigans available from school office)

White shirt

Green and gold tie (available from school office)

A change of footwear for indoor use *

 Summer Uniform (children may continue to wear winter uniform)

Green check or striped dress or school yellow polo shirt and grey skirt

 

BOYS’ UNIFORM

Winter Uniform

Grey trousers

Bottle green jumper or pullover (school sweatshirts available from school office)

White shirt

Green and gold tie (available from school office)

 Summer Uniform (children may continue to wear winter uniform)

Grey shorts

School yellow polo shirt (available from school office)

 

PE Clothing

White shorts (not shiny / slippery fabrics please for safety reasons))

School yellow T-shirt (available from school office)

Plimsolls for indoor games, hairband (to tie back long hair)

Sports shoes / trainers for outdoor games (these can be the same trainers as for daily outdoor use)

Football boots and shin pads must be worn for football (juniors only)

 

Jewellery must not be worn by the children at school for reasons of safety and security. If your child has recently had their ears pierced studs may be worn at school but must be covered with a sticky plaster during PE and games lessons and clubs.

 Children’s hair must not be cut into any of the fashionable shaven or semi-shaven styles or have lines, shapes or letters cut into their hair. Boys hair is to be kept short and tidy.

* We recommend that children wear good shoes indoors and have either another pair of shoes or trainers for outdoor use.
