Supported by Tyne and Wear Development Corporation, Tyneside Training and Enterprise Council and North Tyneside Council
The innovative Royal Quays Education Centre scheme aims to promote and support high quality learning for all children in a local urban development context.
It provides an opportunity for young people to learn about the regeneration and development of the huge Royal Quays site at North Shields, Tyne and Wear.
The site consists of 200 acres of land on the North Bank of the River Tyne. Industry, housing and shopping and leisure facilities are bringing an area of former dereliction back to life. Major environmental improvements are taking place.
There are links with Scandinavia and Northern Europe via the International Ferry Terminal located on site.
THIS SITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND WILL BE UPDATED SOON.
