My New Year's resolution is ........

Miss Harland:.... to cut down on chocolate !

Stacey Glover:.... to stop being cheeky,and stop winding my brothers up.

Sarah Rust:.... to stop fighting with my sister

Debating project: Our debating project will be looking into the future by ten or twenty years ahead of us and we will have to talk about what we would like to change and what we would keep the same in our area and worldwide.We can write about it or we can make a presentation on it.Our project will be about what we want to see in the future.

In the future we would like to see people walking to school or to other places instead of going their cars because more cars equals more pollution and pollution could change the lives of humans and animals.

How cars can change the lives of animals ?It can leave them with no home.More cars are being brought out so that means more roads which are being constructed in the middle of woods and that's where animals live.Trees are being cut down and people are taking homes from innocent animals and creatures.So walking to some places could make the lives of people and creatures better (written by Zoe)

Changes I want for the future:

Scott:I would like there to be less smoke to stop the polar ice caps melting and use alternotive power like wind and rain . Stop all the cars on the roads cars should only be used by people who need to use cars . Streets and parks should be safer for children to walk and play and dangerous waste to be cleaned up.

Stacey:I would like more people to recycle so that there is less garbage every where and people are not breathing everything in. I think cars should be banned altogether so there are less fumes and more polar ice caps. There should be more bikes so that you can get around easier and there are less accidents on the road. There should not be any chemical fumes or tunnels. There should be no nuclear weapons AT ALL ANYWERE IN THE WORLD even war effected ones.There should be less loud noise so there isn't any sound/noise pollution.

Bethan: I would like all the litter on the pavement to be picked up and, to be recycled so that it will be made into something else instead of making the massive rubbish dump even bigger, and losing more clean, green places. Also less cars used, because we are breathing in all of the dirty fumes and it's not nice. If you walked or cycled to school or the shops, the air would be cleaner. I don't like all the wars which have been going on , because innocent people are being killed and families are being separated just because of probably a small group of evil people.
