Mr Taylor came to our school and taught us some things about Sydney. He asked us if we had any questions. At the end of his answer he sometimes gave us a pad with a picture of a flower in the top corner.Mr Taylor also gave each of us a sticker.
He also left us a map of Sydney.
There are a lot of poisonous snakes in Sydney. If you try to poke one with a stick the snake will bite you. Some children or people have been killed by those poisonous snakes. There are some poisonous plants as well in Sydney.
Mr. Taylor has a favourite fishing spot because no one goes down the cliff side. That place is where all the fish swim by.The school where he teaches is nearly surrounded by factories. Most of the children that go there are leaving the school because of the smoke. There is a little part of that island that is poor. There is also a harbour at the end of the island of Sydney. The island is covered by beautiful blue sea.
A thing which he told us about was that the people in Sydney didn't want the Olympic games to be held there.
He also told us his E-Mail address for the school. When he was speaking he passed some pictures around. These pictures showed places around Australia such as the Sydney Opera House, the 'Three Sisters' and a couple more places. These pictures also showed lots of animals and birds. Some of the birds and animals have names that I have never heard of before. He also told us about Australia's past and that the Aborigines always put their rubbish in a dump pile but now, that dump pile is the factory which is near Mr.Taylor's school. Mr.Taylor told us about the three sisters, which are rocks in the Blue Mountains. The story goes like this: One day the father of three young girls said",Don't go down to the woods because there's a monster don't go while I'm at work." But when they played out they went closer every day. Their dad was a tree cutter. One day they went into the woods and then he saw the monster after them. He turned the three sisters into rocks! Now there are 3 rocks.
He said that there are a fifth of the population of Britain/Europe than the population living in Australia . Most of the population live on the coast. The population in the UK is about 58 million. The people in his school can go out side and have lessons on wildlife! They can drink water in lessons because it is so hot, they all have fans in the classroom.

We played a football match against Grosvenor Road. It was a close match (!) but unfortunately we lost !
Here are a few words from Pietro, the man of the match:
It ended up 6-1 to Grovener Road, but we still played the best we could. We were backing off too much and needed to shoot more. Our keeper did the best he could but he didn't have a lot of help. They were just a bit too skillful for us.We could have scored a lot more but we wasted our chances. We needed a stronger defence. We scored a good goal but they scored more. Most of us were running for the ball at the same time and we didn't shout for it.
