The Lottie Project

I walked over to the desk next to Jamie. His irritatingly perfect expression annoyed me immediately, I clenched my fists and resisted the temptation to block his airways with my clammy palms. The thought of sitting next to him all year sent a shiver down my spine. His posh eyes stared into my common eyes and made me blood vessels burst like an erupting volcano.

I watched Miss Beckworth's huge mouth begin to open, in slow motion, and the most dreaded word came out, "HISTORY!" The sleepy children's eyes instantly awoke from their peaceful day dreaming and the odour of new books filled the air.

In Charlie's head a plan began to emerge. She rose her hand to offer her assistance in giving out the new books. Immediately Miss Beckworth saw the potential in Charlotte to become her personal helper. The cogs in Charlie's sharp mind began to vigorously turn. If she was going to become a true goodie goodie, then she must become like Jamie and his geeky club.

"Charlotte, why haven't you started your work yet? If you don't do enough you will need to stay in at break..........Charlotte..........Charlotte......CHARLOTTE!"

Charlie woke out of her trance and looked over at Jamie's work to copy it.

Girls' Football Team

We were terrified, most of us hadn't played in a tournament before, but as soon as we heard the ref(Mr.Tomkow)blow the whistle, we soon set off running up and down the pitch .Every player was brilliant and the goalie Sarah.K was exceptionally talented, she saved every shot except for one which gave us the place of 6th out of 11teams.We tried our best .In every game(apart from the last 1-0)we had a score of 0,0. We all enjoyed playing even though we didn't come first place, but we can feel how hard we played today though!

We want to thank the parents and everyone else who supported us on 6th May 1999 so THANKS!

We are very grateful for your encouragment.
