Anti-bullying project: Click here for photographs.
A group of students from Salford university came to do an anti-bullying project with us. This was an interactive session, meaning that the children were asked to join in the acting and express their opinions. The main issue that was discussed was actually defining what bullying was because in the play, the bully did not feel that she was doing anything wrong. We've had a go at defining the word 'bully'.
Gabby: a bully is someone who picks on you
Stacey: a bully is someone who phsyically or mentally hurts someone else.
Scott: a bully is someone who thinks they are tough
Thomas: a bully is someone who isn't kind to you and is nasty.
Zoe: a bully is a person that picks on people for no reason and calls them names.
Bethan: a bully is someone thinks they are big and think they can around hurting people.
Louis: a bully is someone who makes someone very miserable by threatening them.

Mirrors
On a car there are at least two mirrors, one mirror is often curved outwards a bit and that is called a convex mirrow, another mirror is flat and that is called a concave mirror. A sppon has examples of convex and concave mirrors. On the convex side you can see your face properly and clearly you can see wider and larger but in the concave side your face seems to be upside down.A shaving mirror is concave the mirror curves inwards, it's image is made bigger. The mirrors that are in shops are convex mirrows they are not there for you to try on some clothes and see if they look nice on you they are there for security reasons so shop owners can see in all parts of the shop.(Linday Chapman)

My Nanna.
She is a super funny joker
She is a hot cosy warm fire
She is a colourful special present
She is a helpful dictionary
She is a loving playful puppy
She is a worried worrier
She is the smooth breezy wind
She is a slow snail
She is very understanding
That's my nanna.
