Stephanie's idea: you see things when the light from your eye reaches them. This is wrong because your eye is not a light source if it was you could see in the dark, if you could torches wouldnt be used.

Michael's idea: The light in the room is reflected from your eye so that you can see things. This is wrong because your eyes can absorb light but cannot project light for if it could you could look in the mirror in the dark and still your reflection.

Yasmin's idea: The light from the flowers (and everything else) is reflected.n Some of the light enters your eyes. This is correct because every object reflects a little light that's why we can see everything. As the light source goes to any object and the object reflects off to your eye enabling you to see the object.
