HISTORY

It all began on the 17th of December 1910 when the first ice hockey game in Manchester at Cheetham hills ice palace.Manchester storm weren't born for another 85 years .

The( MEN) arena which the Storm play at , In the heart of Manchester,it can hold 17,245 fanatic fans all cheering on the great STORM!!!!!!! . This great piece architecture of was once sponsered by the telephone compony called Nynex.

It is now sponsered by THE MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS .

The first game ever played by storm was in the 1995 benson + hedges cup .Their opponents were the Telford Tigers,the game was played in Telford on August 26th 95,unfortunatly the STORM lost 6-4. On September the 15th the storm made their home debut at the nynex arena again against the TELFORD TIGERS but this time with a better result 6-6 at the hooter. the storm played through the seasonwith a great 539 goals in52 games an impressive start to the storms long and prossperous carrier.Only 185 goals scored against them.
