Aussie coach touches down at the reds (Salford Rugby Club).John Harvey,43,has a lot to make up for.After a poor start to the season Salford Reds are progressing.When Harvey arrived from a hectic flight he didn't want to waste any time, he went straight to meet the players.Currently third from bottom, the reds are just one point above Huddersfield and five points behind London Broncose who are up next.When Salford were defeated by the league leaders St Helens, Malcom Alker produced a bit of history by braking the tackle barrier with a smashing fifty five tackles!

John Harvey has played in 120 first class games.He played mainly with Eastern Suberbs before going to coach Gold Coast Seagulls.When Harvey had met the players it was time for some much needed rest.

Andy Greagory,the former Salford Reds coach has left Rugby alltogether leaving in an unstylish wayby not winning any thing and leaving them at the foot of the table.He was appalled by salford Reds but the new coach and his trainer are going to try and change that.
