There are many different Gods in Greek mythology. They each serve a purpose and have a delightful story behind how they came to be. There were actually two families of Greek Gods, descended down from the Uranos and Gaea, the original gods. The two families are called the Titans and the Olympians. The Greek Gods
There are many gods in the Greek religion. Each of them has a specific duty that they are responsible for. The mother of all gods is Gaia, the goddess of earth. She united with her son Uranos and they produced the Titans. The youngest of the Titans, Cronos, united with his sister Rhea and they produced the Olympians, who we are the most familiar with. Each of these gods and goddesses have their own unique tale about them. Below are the two family trees to help you understand the two families.
