Below you can find details of the course provided for Data Logging at Sir Robert Hitcham's Primary School

Aim:

To learn the skills needed in Data Logging, and how to apply them to their own school curriculum to develop their use effectively.

Course Duration:

half day

Method:

There will be 2 separate half day training sessions in the SLAMnet computer suite in Sir Robert Hitcham’s VAP School in the Summer Term 2001. Places are limited to one teacher from each school. Due to the considerable expense of purchasing the data logging equipment for each school, we are unable to make a contribution towards the cost of supply cover for this course. Each school attending will be provided with a one-user license of the software and the data logging equipment on completion of a short course evaluation sheet. The price for the Data Logging equipment will be paid for from the Beacon budget. The basic equipment will be FREE (usually costs £169), but if you wish to have the external sensors, you will need to pay the school the sum of £35 before, or on the day of the event (please send cheque and make payable to ‘Sir Robert Hitcham’s VAP School Framlingham). The usual cost is £204.
