Ancient Egyptian life was very different to our life nowadays. To start with they had a Pharaoh which is just like our kings and queens.

Tutankhamun was a very important Pharaoh.  He was one of the most popular.  He became Pharaoh at the age of  eight and died at the age of  eighteen.  The archaeologist Howard Carter unsealed Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922 AD.  He said he could see wonderful things when he opened Tutankhamun's tomb.
