These pieces of  jewellery above were worn by Egyptian Pharaohs. They were worn as a necklace and represented a god. They were called a Pectoral.
           
Jewellery was worn by many rich people, but especially by Pharaohs. Lots of stones were used and gold was also very popular. To use beads for necklaces, they were polished and drilled before they were bought. Some Egyptians wore rings and earrings.
Egyptians also wore scarabs to bring them good luck.
