Milk was no longer bottled in Framlingham from the early 1970's. Milk was then brought in from Aldeburgh. Nearly all households had two pints of milk delivered every day at this time. Milk was delivered to primary schools up until 1974 as every child was entitled to 1/3 of a pint every day. This was drunk at morning break. Milk is now being brought in from Fenstanton in Cambridgshire and only 1 in 8 households have milk delivered. |
