When Solar Supermarket was built, Potters Garage moved to on a green field site on Station Road which was once part of Fair Field (where fairs came in Medieval times). Parallel to Station Road are many roads named after Fair Field.

There have been many recent developments of green field sites such as housing estates and the doctor's surgery.
