This picture shows Potters Garage Workshop before it was knocked down to build the Solar Superstore (below) in 1995. Before supermarkets were brought to this country from America in the early 1960's, people did their shopping by going from shop to shop to buy meat, vegetables, hardware and stationery. People could have milk, bread, newspapers, fish and groceries delivered daily.
