Woodlice have a hard shell on the outside of their body which is called an exoskeleton. Woodlice have only seven pairs of legs. Woodlice are small animals that live in the soil and other damp places. When woodlice are touched they curl up in to a ball. Woodlice will curl up into a ball because the hardest part of their body is on the outside. Woodlice feed mainly on rotting plants. |
