This is the top part of a salwar and khameez which is sometimes called a 'pyjama suit' (pyjama is an Indian word). It is an outfit which is particularly popular in the Panjab and with Muslim women. However, it is becoming more and more popular throughout India, especially with young people. There are children in Suffolk schools and throughout the UK who wear  salwar and khameez to school. There are changing fashions, e.g. trousers can become tighter or more baggy.
