Method: For teachers who have been out of teaching for a long time and would like to find out more about the new curriculum developments, the opportunity exists to shadow a teacher at Sir Robert Hitcham’s Primary School. There will also be an opportunity for discussing issues that a returning teacher might have. There will be no supply cover for this part of the course. For real beginners with computing, this course is to acquaint themselves with the Suffolk SLAMnet computers. It applies to any teachers, whether thinking of returning, or already started, who would like to come in for an afternoon session of hands-on computer experience. A contribution of £50 will be provided for supply cover to teachers who would normally be employed on the afternoon of the course on completion of a short course evaluation sheet. Dates:

The course will be lead by Andrew Trythall, who is ICT subject leader at Beacon School co-ordinator at Sir Robert Hitcham’s Primary School. Course notes will be provided, which will also be available through the Sir Robert Hitcham Web Site.
