On Thursday the 22nd of June 2000 Sir Robert Hitcham's Primary School yr. 5 and 6 went to visit the Millennium Dome in Greenwich .Two of the girls from the school tell us the best recommended zones for children in their age group ."We loved the show," the girls tell us. "It was really clever, especially the gymnasts who did somersaults on the bungee ropes and the stage that kept rising and lowering. The living planet zone was excellent. It taught us all about the Earth." They went on a journey around the earth exploring hurricanes, volcanoes and icebergs. The children all agree it was a memorable visit to the dome.
