On Wednesday we read a story called Anancy and Mr. Dry Bone.
It's a traditional Jamaican tale.
Anancy is half-man half-spider. He is a person who likes playing tricks
on people. He also likes a bit of a laugh. He is a very clever man. After Mr.
Trythall read us the story of Anancy and Mr. Dry bone we had to write our
own stories about Anancy. We had to include what his character was
like. Then we drew pictures to go with the stories using Paintbrush.
My story was called Anancy and the beggar. Ellie's story was called
Anancy and the Doctor.
