Cynthia came in and told us all about Jamaican schools. She used to only have one big room in her school just like our school's hall. They had their lessons outside under a tree. Some schools had to use the school in turns. Her school started at 8.00 and ended at 2.30. That is because there were lots of children so they had the younger children first. Then the older children started school at 2.30 and ended at 6.00
