Plants and trees

Notcutt's produce 2.3 million container plants each year. when the plants are grown  they are put into peat and  gravel which helps them to grow. The plants are kept in special greenhouses witch in the winter helps to keep the plants warm so they don't  freeze when it is cold. When the plants get too tall they have to be cut down with a hedge cutter because people like their plants short and bush rather than tall and straggly.
The plants are regularly checked for dead leaves. Notcutts produce 3,000 different species of flowers and trees.
