We have made some puppets out of socks. First we had to find out which
fabrics were good for ears and things. We tested them to see if they would fray and if
they were easy to sew. Next we chose beads, buttons or sequins to be eyes.
Then we designed our puppets. Most of us chose animals. The
hardest part was sewing on the eyes and the nose.
We had to shake them hard afterwards to make sure we had sewn them on
firmly.
