Rounders is a game when you have to hit the ball with the bat.  You run around the posts before the bowler catches the ball. When the bowler throws the ball and the batter misses the ball the backstop has to catch the ball and throw the ball to the bowler. If the bowler catches the ball before the  batter is on a post the batter is out. The fielders help to catch the ball and catch the batter out.
