Caribbean  fruit & vegetables
by Louise &  Siobhan .

The Avocado Pear had hardly any flavour  like our avocados. You can make the breadfruit into pastry  and you have to cook the plantain & the green bananas. And the cassava you have to peel and boil well.
Louise.

Some of the fruits were really nice. My favourite fruit were
The green oranges and the mango were so yummy  we couldn't stop eating them all .The pawpaw was to sweet, it was like candy and it was like a peach but sweeter.

There were vegetables like the okra[ ladies fingers ] , red hot chilli , edoe , breadfruit , yam ,cassava.
Here are some pictures of my favourite fruits.

My favourite was the breadfruit , because I like its bright colours and its HEAVY and it is BIG.

We are lucky because Mrs  Durban came in to show us the fruit  and gave us the opportunity to taste the fruits I definitely enjoyed myself a lot  Caribbean fruits are much more different than our fruit and I always enjoy trying different foods and. we learnt a lot while having fun.

Louise and I and the group, we were with Mrs Durban in the Activity area we were learning about tropical fruits and vegetables it was such fun with Mrs Durban I think she will be better as a science teacher in THIS school she could  teach us about tropical fruit and veg and all other kinds of fruits and veg it will be so brilliant.

The yam is a lovely vegetable  we  didn't try it but I did a few previous years ago it is a  bit like a potato or parsnip and looks nice as well I also like chillies and ladies fingers , the green oranges are much  more juicy than our oranges they were juicy, yummy  , thirst quenching and deliciously satisfying .
