It is proposed to:
Resurface the carriageway.
Surface-dress the parking areas and mark out using granite.
Repave the footways.
Create a space for pedestrians outside the Crown Hotel.
Reduce clutter and improve signs and lines.
Create a pedestrian space to the west side of the Hill including an outdoor seating area for the café at No.10.
Move cycle racks to a safer place.
Provide extra seating.
Reduce the parking by three spaces.
Two options are described for the town sign, option A and option B.
