This is a carving of the dragon and down below there is a picture of the Angel and the Angel is called St. Michael and the name of the dragon is called the devil because he was evil. Both of the carvings were carved in Tudor Ipswich.

Saint Michael and the dragon dates from the second half of the 15th century. There is a carving by the same artist still in position in the college gate bookshop in Silent Street,Ipswich. The artist is unknown.
