From 25 June to 30 June there was storytelling at the Framlingham Castle. Children from different schools came to learn about the castle and hear stories from the storyteller, Fiona Collins. She told tales from around Suffolk. They were tales of creatures that haunted parts of Suffolk, like the tale of The Black Shook. In this story there is a black giant dog that appeared in the middle of a storm, in a church and it had fiery eyes which burned someone to death. With two strikes of its almighty paws two people were found dead with broken necks. It then ran to the door and disappeared into the storm. The claw marks of the dog can still be seen on the church door from when it burst
