Many divers have made many visits to the wreck on the sea bed. One of these divers was Margaret Rule.   

In 1981 she lead a team of divers and archaeologists who wanted to raise the Mary Rose to the surface. In October 1982, the hull of the Mary Rose was lifted above the surface to the water where it had lain for over 400 years.
