Governors have invested heavily in computer technology giving us some of the best facilities in the area.
The school is networked throughout and uses the latest Pentium PCs to provide opportunities to the highest level.

Our Curriculum
Our pupils study IT each year at school. The course covers most aspects of modern computer usage from Text processing, Database work and Spreadsheets to Control Technology and Electronic.
All pupils at Key Stage Three will study for RSA Text Processing by the end of Year 9.
In addition we insist all pupils take GCSE IT at Key Stage 4. Currently over 50% are gaining a grade C or above!

There are also many other opportunities. Some of our pupils take RSA Internet Technology training them to build web pages use internet. (Our youngest was aged 11!) There are a wide variety of clubs including one that shows pupils how to program for themselves.
The provision of high quality skills in Information Technology is one of our main aims as it provides our youngsters with the ability to access their future.
