At Sir Thomas Boughey
We offer a modern up-to-date environment for learning based upon traditional values such as good discipline. Our approach reflects the importance of hard work and learning as a basis for a young person's future.
Our recent Oftsed report described us as
"a caring, disciplined school where pupils felt safe"
These values are important to us. Our youngsters should enjoy school life but know how to take place in adult life when they leave it.
Although we have a traditional approach we place a high emphasis on the needs of modern society.
The school places a high priority on good quality computer and Information Technology skills. Currently we are one of the best-equipped schools in the area and set high standards. All pupils do IT to GCSE and will have taken RSA Text Processing by the end of Year 9.

Our school has many strengths, not in the least its reputation within the arts and sports, but most of all we aim to care for our pupils and their needs.
