Advanced Level Law
The Oxford Board Advanced Level course, which is followed at SWM, consists of two papers, one on general principles of English law and the English legal system, the other on the Law of Contract.
Topics covered for the general paper include the courts, the judiciary, the legal profession and the penal system.
The paper on Contract Law covers all the specific legal problems concerned with the drawing up of business and private contracts. This is of great use to anyone in adult life.
Previous experiences of the law are not essential for the well-motivated student who will no doubt wish to proceed into a glittering career in the legal profession, charging extortionate hourly rates at the earliest opportunity.
