Advanced Level Mathematics

This Advanced Level Course builds on the work covered in the higher level course at GCSE.

Pure Mathematics develops your knowledge and skills in areas such as algebra and trigonometry and gives you the tools to work through problems in scientific and practical situations. In Applied Mathematics we have traditionally looked at Mechanics though an alternative to this would be Statistics if there is sufficient demand.

A realistic entry qualification for A Level Mathematics is a grade A or B at GCSE mathematics.
