Physics is a key part of Science and Technology.
Physics deals with why things behave as they do. It includes topics such as electricity, heat, wave motion, and radioactivity.
A knowledge of physics is necessary to understand a host of things which effect our lives. If you want to extend your knowledge of the world around you, from a scientific point of view, then you'll enjoy physics for its own sake; but physics also opens up to you a huge range of career opportunities.
At SWM Sixth Form, Physics is a modular course with external examinations approximately every two terms
Practical work is an important part of the course and is examined by continuous assessment.
