GNVQ Business - Intermediate
This is an exciting course dealing with practical aspects of business. It will involve a lot of research and contact with all kinds of firms, both large and small.
Essentially there are four units to be covered.
a - Business Organisation and Employment
Here you will look at different types of business, why they are situated where they are and also what jobs they offer. Extremely important knowledge when you start looking for yourself!
b - People in Business
This looks at different roles within business, employees' rights and responsibilities, the role of management and the legal side of firms.
c - Financial Accounts
This looks at the accounting documents used in business. How to construct them and what they mean.
d - Customers
This area explains advertising, customer services, complaints and customer protection, what sort of people produce what sort sort of goods and what the Citizen's Charter means.
There are 3 units which are tested, All tests are multiple choice.
This will be an excellent course for all students who want to get a good background in business.
