It's My Life
Wake up in the morning Fell asleep too late
don't want to go to school But I don't care - its my life Go to
school looking a mess Never checked my bag My friends laugh and
say I look stupid I just say "Get lost" - it's my life
Go to class, they ask me for my book "Don't have it
Sir" - he gives me lines I have to write on paper But I
don't care - it's my life Next lesson I remembered my book But I
fell asleep and got lines What does he know about Science All he
cares for is money - it's my life Get home, do my homework Do my
lines, get Mum to sign them All she does is moan, moan , moan So
I tell her what I tell everyone - IT'S MY LIFE!.
He's Gone
How loud his voice was when he wanted it to
be He powered over me he powered over every child I knew But the
power never took over him He could be as nice and as kind as we
would let him be I know he cared, we all know he cared He was
there for us. He was there for me A lot of people listened when
he spoke Because he would talk sense He'd only say things that
were for our own good I loved him. We all loved him You can tell
by the reaction we had (This brings me to the sad part in my
poem) They told us it was a heart murmer We cried, we banged the
desks I felt upset I felt mad why did he leave us Now he's gone I
want him back We all want him back But he's gone forever.
