Combs Middle School is situated on the outskirts of Stowmarket , a market town within easy reach of the numerous areas of beauty and historical interest in Suffolk, as well as being a mere 1½ hour train journey away from London.
There are approximately 340 pupils at the school which enjoys a reputation for excellence and care, as well as encouraging extra-curricular successes in sport, drama and musical activities. We seek to ensure that our pupils flourish in a happy, purposeful atmosphere and consider that the school environment has much to contribute towards that atmosphere. Our accommodation offers spacious, specialist facilities, including Science Laboratories, practical rooms for Art, Design Technology, Food and Textiles, a well - resourced Library, Drama studio, Music Studio, and considerable computer provision. The school's outdoor facilities include extensive playing fields, a swimming pool and a multi-purpose area. Local organisations and clubs use our facilities extensively during out of school hours.
The school is an integral part of the community and has forged links with various organisations and institutions in the area.
