Topcliffe Primary School

An acrostic poem is where the initial letters of the lines spell a word (or words), for example the name of an animal.

The group helped Mrs Morgan to compose a poem about Oscar the parrot.

The children then looked at the animals in the classroom and created their own acrostic poems.
