We mixed yellow and red paint to make our fiery pictures of the sun.
Apart from the few rays of sunlight that trickled through the classroom windows just after lunch time...
How could we tell that it was the
sun giving us light?We found that we could make
shadows even when there was no other light source. We decided that the light was coming through the window based on where the shadows fell. We used our previous knowledge and information books to conclude that the light source must be the sun even if there were clouds in the sky.

We thought that shadows looked like fun so we made some shadow puppets to tell the nativity story and some silhouettes. |
