We started the new millennium with a celebration based around books.
The children spent all week enjoying a variety of books, and took part in many special events;
- They met an author
Children's poet Paul Cookson visited the school and took workshops at K.S.2
- They watched a story teller
Joy Foxley told the story of Krishna and Kaliya in words, sounds and actions
- They dressed as their favourite character
A parade of storybook characters (including the teachers in costume !!!)
- They wrote about books
