Key Stage One trip to White Post Farm

(Infant and Nursery Children)
On June 25th the whole of the Key Stage One department headed off ' into the country '
We travelled to White Post Farm - a working pig farm that also had a wide variety of other animals on site.
See the wondeful collection of creatures that we found below
At the farm the children were allowed to feed some of the animals;

Feeding the Goats, Sheep and Cows

They also saw some very unusal animals as well;

A Llama, a Dragon Lizard and an Emu
(The braver children were allowed to touch the lizard)

They also had the chance to hold several baby animals;

Holding a rabbit, and holding a duck
The children also came across many more animals as well, and after returning to school class 5 made the follwing list of the animals they remembered seeing;

Ducks, Chicken, Geese, Sheep, Llamas, Goats, Rabbits, Dogs, Cats, Fish, Gerbils, Hamsters, Rats, Turkeys, Cows, Pigs, Emus, Vultures, Owls, Pot Bellied Pigs, Donkeys, Peacocks, Ponies, Mice, Quails, Bats, Lizards, Ants, Bees, Snakes, Treefrogs, Tortoises, Terrapins, Hissing Cockroaches, African Snails, Tarantulas, Stick Insects and Guniea Pigs.
And they still probably forgot some !!!
